The Scottish Government provides all funding for the Scotland Pakistan Scholarships for Young Women and Girls 2025, which are run by the British Council in Pakistan. By funding undergraduate (4-year bachelor’s) and graduate (up to 2-year master’s/MPhil) courses at HEC-accredited universities throughout Pakistan, it empowers Pakistani women.

The following costs are covered by this scholarship:
Fees for tuition
Costs of university housing, if any
On-campus students receive a biannual transport allowance between their home and university.
Eligibility:-
Gender & Nationality: Only Pakistani women
Educational Level:

Undergraduate: Four-year bachelor’s degree.

Postgraduate: Up to two-year Master’s or MPhil.
Fields of Study:

For both levels: Education, Sustainable Energy, Food Security & Agriculture, Health Sciences (excluding medical sciences), Climate Change.

Additionally for Master’s/MPhil: STEM Engineering
Admission Status: A confirmed admission offer from an HEC-recognized university is typically required. However, conditional offers may be accepted if formal admission comes later.
