Applications for the 2026 Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement (TEA) Program are now being accepted. For teachers at Pakistani government schools, it is a chance for professional exchange. The program is slated for 2027 and is set in the United States. In academic environments, it lasts for roughly six weeks. Teachers who instruct students in grades 8–10 in mathematics, science, or computer science are eligible for this opportunity. After finishing the program, chosen teachers are required to return to Pakistan from the United States.

The goal of this Fulbright program is to enhance teaching abilities through education and classroom experience. It aids educators in comprehending contemporary teaching strategies, course design, and student evaluation. Additionally, participants gain knowledge about how to educate using technology. Teachers from Pakistan are paired with educators in the United States through the scholarship program. It encourages professional development, collaborative learning, and improved teaching methods. Helping teachers develop as educators and implement what they learn in their own classrooms is the goal.

Throughout the time spent in the United States, the program offers complete financial support. It provides health care for the duration of the program, lodging, meals, academic expenses, and travel. Support for professional growth is also given to participants. It is not required of applicants to take the TOEFL or IELTS at the time of admission. Only those who have been shortlisted are asked to take the TOEFL at a later time, at no cost. Upon completion of the program, all participants are required to return to Pakistan.

Eligiblity Criteria:-

  • must be a Pakistani government school teacher.
  • Classes 8–10 must be taught computer science, mathematics, or the sciences.
  • At least five years of experience instructing in a classroom
  • must reside in Pakistan and be a citizen of Pakistan.
  • After the program, you must intend to stay a teacher for at least five years.
  • English proficiency, both in writing and speaking, is required.
  • must have completed 16 years of school or at least a bachelor’s degree.

Not Eligible:-

  • Two citizens of the United States and Pakistan
  • Candidates who have a spouse or child who is at least 18 years old and a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  • Fulbright, USAID, or U.S. Department of State employees or contractors, as well as their immediate family
    graduates of any scholarship program supported by the US government.
